Mr Whitehead was previously the CEO of Credit Union Australia and Bank West-Retail. Mr Whitehead has broad experience in financial services, information technology and other industries in a wide range of roles. Mr Whitehead has previously served as a non-executive Director for Cuscal Limited, St Andrew’s Insurance Group, Unisys West and a number of financial service, technology and community organisations.
Mr Noone has led the development, launch and optimisation of many innovative companies that have helped define the digital market in Europe, Asia and Australia. Mr Noone led the Asia Pacific business for Microprose and then moved to London as Commercial Director for Hasbro. Mr Noone also went on to launch Vodafone‘s games business in Europe and later become their Head of Business Development and Content. Mr Noone moved back to Australia in 2006 to ramp up ninemsn’s mobile business, taking responsibility for the monetisation of the mobile products of Microsoft, ACP Magazines and Channel 9 as well as the 5th Finger and HWW mobile businesses. In addition to helping large corporations evolve in a digital environment he has also co-founded a number of start-up businesses. He is currently CEO and non-Executive Director of Collaborate Corporation Limited (ASX:CL8) a leader player in the sharing economy.

David has over 25 years experience in management experience across numerous fields, founding numerous successful and upcoming businesses, including FundX in 2015, S2M Digital in 2006, Global Job Network in 2001, and Parker Bridge Financial Recruitment in 1999. David is also an active Angel Investor across various early stage businesses in Australia, Asia and the USA, a sitting board member of Sydney Angels Inc., and a mentor at Sydney Universities INCUBATE.
David is in love with his family, and holds a Bachelor of Business Degree from University of Newcastle to accompany his vast repertoire of startup experience. A true business visionary, David is renowned for his energy, passion and drive. His reputation has been built on his ability to think outside the box. His client credentials hold testimony to his dedication to consistently over-deliver.
Chief Operating Officer
Val Sabulis has extensive financial services experience, both in Australia and overseas. He has held roles encompassing finance, operations, technology, risk and product management. Val commenced his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, subsequently joined Westpac and progressed to be Head of Finance and Operations for Westpac Europe, based in London.
Upon his return from the UK, Val held CFO and COO roles with a number of financial services firms including Charles Schwab, Colonial, Bluestone, RAMS Home Loans and Balmain Group.
Chief Technology Officer
Rich Buggy has over 20 years experience in software development working across multiple industries. His experience includes software development, solutions architecture and management. He was the CTO at Advive for 5 years where he led a team that built multiple marketing platforms before leaving to launch his own startup.
Rich has a Bachelor of Arts (Computer Science) and Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from Macquarie University. His interests include learning new technology, building websites, online marketing and ecommerce.
Dominique Cormie has an established background in financial management, accountancy, and human resources, with over 20 years' experience across multiple industries across Australia. Dominique started her career with NRMA, and has since worked as a financial manager for The Prime Advisory Group, Anytime Fitness, S2M Recruitment, and Goldsmiths Lawyers.
Alongside her experience in financial management, she has prior experience in human resource management, training, and recruitment.
Sarah has over 20 years’ experience in legal and management positions both in Australia and internationally. She has worked in general counsel roles in several Australian financial services and fund management entities, including 8 years as Australian general counsel / senior corporate counsel for Babcock & Brown. In 2011, Sarah established CapitaLegal, a successful boutique professional services firm specialising in corporate law. She remains the principal of CapitaLegal.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Major) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of NSW, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. She is a member of the Law Society of NSW, a Fellow of FINSIA and is admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW.
Public Relations Consultant
Hannah Moreno is a seasoned writer and professional communicator, with over 10 years’ experience across the gamut of communications disciplines. Her experience spans public relations, technical ghost and business writing, internal and external communications, marketing, events management, translations, and transnational communications campaigns. Her educational background includes a B Comm and M Strat PR (University of Sydney; Universitá Bocconì), where she received a number of scholarships and awards.
Hannah is a fitness fanatic, and is passionate about issues of social justice. She is an active member of Zonta International, a leading global organization of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy.
Social Media Manager
Craig has a background that includes travelling, working on a square-rigger, setting up a restaurant in London and running his own home improvement business in the mountains of Norway. An avid reader and lover of all things tech, Craig is usually found consuming large swathes of information online to identify common threads and links to better understand the complexities of a changing world.
When not looking after FundX’s social media, Craig also administers a social media account for a Norwegian Ski destination, one of Australia’s leading Digital Recruitment companies and looks after operational logistics for a construction firm.
Adrian has over 20 years experience in accounting, corporate finance and investment banking and has worked with high growth potential businesses from start-ups through to established businesses. Adrian is an executive director of Venture Advisory, a specialist telecommunications, media and technology financial advisory firm operating out of Australia and AsiaPac. He was previously a Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Private Clients and Mergers & Acquisitions groups, with experience across a wide range of industries. Adrian is a Chartered Accountant, a Senior Associate of Finsia and has completed a Bachelor of Business (UTS) and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance. Adrian is a member of the Executive Committee of Australia’s leading angel investing group, Sydney Angels. Adrian is also a non-executive director of two ASX listed tech companies as well as a director or advisory board member to several private technology companies.
Brendan is an experienced technology entrepreneur, mentor and investor whose career online started at age 14 when he developed an online service that his friends, with 300 baud modems, could dial into. At aged 19, Brendan worked for the world’s first commercial online service CompuServe while studying a degree in technology. Brendan worked at Optus Vision in Australia deploying cable modems in a world first trial on an HFC network. In 1999 Brendan founded ShopFree.com which expanded to 7 countries and over 1 million members. In 2004, Brendan relocated to San Francisco to further ShopFree’s push into the USA market.
As a mentor and consultant Brendan has worked with VinoMofo, Shop A Docket, SportsBet, the Australian Radio Network and rock band INXS. Brendan currently is Director of Community Development for SoftLayer, which was recently acquired by IBM. Brendan is also a mentor at MuruD, Accelerating Commercialisation, TechBeach, NRMA Jumpstart, Incubate and SlingShot.
